I. Safety Operating Procedures
Pre-Operation Preparation
Equipment Inspection: Ensure the power cord is intact, the grounding wire is securely connected (ground resistance ≤ 4Ω), and insulation performance meets standards (withstand voltage ≥ 500V).
For handheld sanders, the switch must be flexible; for stationary sanders, bolts must be tightened and belts free of wear.
Personal Protection: Wear safety goggles, dust masks, and gloves to avoid dust inhalation and mechanical injury.
Environmental Requirements: The working area should be well-ventilated, free of flammable or explosive substances, and maintain an oxygen concentration of ≥18%.
Precautions During Operation
Startup Protocol: Stand to the side of the machine when starting it. Confirm the rotation direction is correct. Maintain a 30°–40° angle between the sanding disc and the workpiece. Do not press or tilt forcefully.
Force Control: Maintain a steady feed speed to avoid overloading or uneven sanding. If the sanding disc becomes jammed, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
Real-Time Monitoring: Continuously observe the machine for abnormal vibrations or noises. Stop the machine immediately if any issues occur.
Post-Operation Handling
Shut Down: Wait at least 30 seconds after powering off to ensure the machine comes to a complete stop before moving it, avoiding injury from inertia.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Wipe down the machine with a dry cloth. Do not use corrosive solvents. Regularly apply lubricant and record maintenance activities.
Emergency Response
Electric Shock First Aid: Cut off power supply, use insulated tools to rescue the victim, and perform CPR if necessary.
Equipment Failure: Stop the machine and notify professional maintenance personnel. Do not disassemble the equipment without authorization.
II. Maintenance Manual
Daily Maintenance
Bur Replacement: Replace burrs only after shutting down the machine to avoid bearing damage caused by dropped handles.
Dust Removal: Clean dust after each use. Apply specialized maintenance oil and run the machine briefly to expel excess oil.
Transmission Component Check: Periodically inspect bearings, gears, and cooling systems. Replace worn parts promptly.
Long-Term Storage
Return the machine to the tool storage area-do not store it personally for extended periods. Regularly inspect the power cord, carbon brushes, and fuses.
